Hillaru Duloc
A Veena Viera from the Skatay Range mountains, they left their boring life behind in search of adventure and purpose in Eorzea. They took up a position as a Paladin in the Temple Knights of Ishgard under Commander Lucia but retired the post after the dramatic events of the Dragonsong War left them disillusioned. While leaving Ishgard, Hillaru happened upon Renwin Duloc who was being attacked by a monster. Hillaru saved Renwin, and they began adventuring together. The two fell in love and married.
And so their story begins...

Interest: Spirituality
They have a special bond with Halone but believe in all of the Twelve.
Hillaru explored their spiritual side by helping lead a temple of Menphina. There, they developed the skills necessary to write rituals (such as healing, fertility and bonding rites), perform Oracle readings, and manage a multifaceted group of people.
Interest: Culinary
Hillaru quickly became the go-to cook in their mercenary companies, owing to the care they took in preparing each meal as tastily, and efficiently, as possible.
Hillaru kept the temple stocked with freshly made donuts, which quickly became a favorite treat amongst the clergy and congregation.
Hillaru owns their own bakery called "Bunwife's Bakery", open daily between mercenary jobs.
Interest: Healing
Originally trained in salve-making as a kit, Hillaru has honed their healing craft to include medicinals and alchemy. Working as a battlefield medic taught them first aid and wound management.
They can use prayer and ritual to create healing foods.
Recently, they've learned how to heal using aether.

After leaving their traditional life behind in the Skatay mountains, they honed their martial skills over the centuries through mercenary work, adventuring, and enlisting as a Paladin in the Temple Knights of Ishgard during the Dragonsong War.
Hillaru strives to protect those who cannot protect themselves.
They may be challenged to a fight at the Dark Star Hostelry.

Oracle readings are done using OoC oracle cards , substituting in-game creature names when possible.
